StraightLine’s NEW Steep Tapered bits gives you the edge you need in those hard compact soil conditions that are difficult to engage. The key features of this bit include: Steep tapered carbide cutters which enables the bit to gain penetration into hard compact soils/cobble in order to begin a quick steering maneuver; the entire perimeter of the bit is protected with carbide impregnated hardsurfacing to extend the bits life; the bit body is constructed from 4140 plate for long service life. This bit is also available with dome carbides, and will fit both Vermeer & Ditch Witch bolt patterns. The result is an aggressive, long lasting bit.
